• You will drive form Kampala or Entebbe to Bwindi National Park. While at the park you will encounter with the mountain gorillas the world endangered species. You will also see other mammals, primates, birds and the ancient biological forest and many others.

    Day 1: Kampala-Bwindi

    After morning breakfast the guide will transfer you to Bwindi. Stopover at the Equator for photos, lunch enroute in Mbarara. Dinner and overnight at the lodge: Buhoma Lodge-Luxury, Silverback Lodge-standard, Buhoma Community Rest Camp-budget.

    Day 2: Gorilla tracking

    After early morning breakfast, the guide will transfer you to the Park headquarters for briefing. Tracking starts at 8:30am and takes about 3-8 hours. The trip is very challenging but enjoyable. It will be wise if you pack some bottles of mineral water in case you feel thirsty.

    Later, have lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

    Day 3: birding-community walk

    Have breakfast early in the morning and leave for birding. Spot as Many birds as possible and also enjoy the beauty of the forests.

    Have lunch and later encounter with the local community. Visit the Batwa community and learn about their unique culture, have dinner and night at the lodge.

    Day 4: Bwindi-Kampala

    After morning breakfast, transfer to Kampala. Stopover in Mbarara for Lunch and a Equator for photos after reaching Kampala, the guide will drop you at you lodge in Kampala or Entebbe

    Buhoma lodge is an exclusive camps and lodges that were established in 2005. The lodges and Camps are designed in their own different unique style and is located at, at the entrance to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Silverback Lodge -Midrange

    Silverback Lodge is located in the Buhoma sector. The Lodge is only a 5 minute walk to the national park and has sweeping views of the valley and forests that surround it. There are twelve rooms in total at Silverback Lodge.1 single room, 4 double rooms, and 7 twin rooms

    The rooms are built and designed using local materials, like forest vines, sisal rope and purple slate stone. Each room has an en-suite bathroom (with hot water showers) and comfortable chairs on the veranda for viewing the flora and fauna that make up the surroundings in the valley

    Buhoma Community Rest Camp-budget

    The accommodation is located in Buhoma at the park’s entrance. The camp has furnished double and twin safari tents, mosquito nets, sheets and balconies. En suite rooms and shared bathroom Facilities are also available together with hot water/showers and flushing toilets. The camp also provide several lodging options like dormitory style accommodations, bandas, and leveled terraces for clients with camping equipment.
