Day 1 of the 5 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking Safari & Chimpanzee Tracking Tour: Arrival, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On your arrival at the Airport, your safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park as he tells you about your safari. This is 11 hours and it has about 559km. You will have lunch en route then dinner and overnight at the same lodge.

Day 2 of the 5 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking Safari & Chimpanzee Tracking Tour: Gorilla tracking in Uganda

You will have briefing at the park headquarters after breakfast about the gorilla tracking activity. You will head to the forests to look out for the gorillas with the help of the game rangers who will pave you way and scare away the wild animals. You will have to carry packed lunch and water. In the afternoon you can have the batwa cultural experience for a short time where you will see their traditional dances, hear their stories, local food, medicine and all about them. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 of the 5 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking Safari & Chimpanzee Tracking Tour: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. You will pass via the Ishasha sector to track the tree climbing lions. The journey takes around 441km and it is a 9 hour drive. You will have your lunch en route as you also view different wildlife attractions. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4 of the 5 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking Safari & Chimpanzee Tracking Tour: Chimp tracking, Nature walks

You will have breakfast and then get briefing about the chimpanzee tracking from the park headquarters. You will then head to the forest to look out for the chimps. You will see how they play, feed, and have their photo shoots. You will come back to the lodge for and in the afternoon enjoy the nature walks in Bigodi swamp where you will see different birds and primates. You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Kampala which takes about 8 hours and it is 358km. you will have lunch en route.

Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge

Clouds Mountain Gorilla lodge is located near the tail head where Nkuringo family gorilla tracking takes place. This is a luxury lodge with 8 cottages and very good facilities given to the tourists. These have double rooms and twin beds with clean cotton sheets and confortable warm duvets. There are private chairs outside the cottages where you can sit and have good views of the bwindi forest, virunga, Rwanda, botanical gardens and others.

Gorilla Mist Camp

This camp is not big size but however comfortable. It has 4 thatched roof African cottages having balconies. The rooms have electricity, hot and cold showers and clean facilities offered to tourists while on their safaris in Uganda. The camp caters for luxury, midrange and budget tourists.
